Text message program

This page describes the text messages sent through Five Star Toolbox, how people agree to receive them, and how to stop them.

What the messages are

Local businesses use Five Star Toolbox to send their own recent customers a text message asking for an online review. Each business's customers receive messages from that business. Messages are one-to-one requests after a completed service, not promotions or advertising.

How customers agree to receive them

A customer gives their mobile number to the business when they book or complete a service, and agrees to get a text asking for a review. The business then confirms that agreement in the app before a message can be scheduled. The app will not schedule a message without that confirmation, and it records when the confirmation was made. Businesses are told to use consent wording like this:

"May we text you a link to leave a quick review after your service? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time."

Sample messages

First message, sent about a day after the service:

Hi Dana, thanks for choosing Harbor Mobile Detailing! If you have a minute, a quick Google review helps other customers find us: fivestartoolbox.com/r/k3m9x2 Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

One reminder, only if the link has not been opened after a few days:

Hi Dana, a quick reminder from Harbor Mobile Detailing. Your review would mean a lot to us: fivestartoolbox.com/r/k3m9x2 Reply STOP to opt out.

How often

At most two messages per completed service: the first message, and one reminder.

Stopping and getting help

• Reply STOP to any message and you will receive no more messages from that number.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@floridabusinessreports.com.

Costs and carriers

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing anything.

Your information

Mobile numbers are used only to deliver these review requests. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy and terms of service.
